Taurus (& those with Taurus experience esspecially) please help!?

My husband wants a divorce randomly. I do not but he gave me hell about signing I did not so, why bother him more to make him say mean stuff to me? He has not signed the papers but is quietly calling and asks for advice, says nothing makes him happy, and does not want to do this but “it’s too late” I told him it’s a lie Becase he never agreed to marriage counseling with me or even to continue his court ordered anger management! He told me new years day “I’m not ready for a relationship” as if we have not been married for the last year! We were both looking foreward to moving to his state but I had to finish my school semester here (paid for), and he wanted to see his grandparents for the holidays and my mom was making serious problems on top of it all How could I not understand? I had even talked with him new years eve and gave a speech over the phone how much I miss him and love him can hardly wait to start a new less stressful life out of California where we struggle to get by and both of us hated it here (now where I’m stuck until I get to a different university). I want to be with him I can not stop thinking about him and it tortures me that he felt like he needed to leave like this! I found a poem he wrote about feeling lonely but I think about how I was always asking him if he was alright and to talk to me and he was always “good” or “okay” and did not speak up He’s also bipolar and would not take his medication but for some reason he was getting in control before he left! Because he was planning to leave me he decided to pull it together? He admits to being there for him and my calling to tell me what his friends treat him like crap. . . Less than a week ago emailed me about his fantasies masturbating (and not about anyone specific, so not me either!) said he’s using his porn etc to get off but said he’s getting rid of it and if I wanted it. I said no, admitted to not being able to hear such things yet during our divorce and I asked him why he’s even getting rid of his stuff but he has not responded to my casual or emails. I love him more than anything, and miss him terribly I’ve apologized and I’m already better in a lot of the ways that used to bother him. Were both in debt now since he decided to share only a little here and there. I’m I’m debt $ 400 for car repairs to my mom and he’s at least $ 58,000 in debt to the hospital for him trying to kill himself (if I had not found him and gave him secretly seizuring he’d be dead and if I had not been at the hospital when he was unconscious except for him getting financial aid and covering BOTH our classes he wouldve woke up just as depressed, though he had been he could not Provide and depressed over money, I did not listen the night before like IShouldve because I never saw someone so upset about something we had so little control of (had to just wait on the above and school, his 2nd day of class what the next day, dependent on him getting money!) I don ‘ t get him. What could it be he’s not telling me? Please help! Is there anyway to convince him I know how to be there for him? To realize all I’ve shouldered to stay with him? He said things I said in months before arguments made him upset and that I can not forgive him but I have! I do not understand why he’s stopped doing this and to tell me he’s depressed and can not talk with anyone else he likes talking to me and trusts me. That he’s lonely! (yeah-he’s divorcing me!) any level-headed advice is I prefer not to hear “move on” because I can not unless there’s hope I will be with him in the future. And how Am I even supposed to let go right now? What are my chances of getting back the love of my life? sounds tragic but all the romance and love what more intense, I remember it and I’m sad to think he does not. Help please and thank you sooooo much!

What happens when you stop paying your credit cards?

So I’ve done some research and I know all of the consequences of walking away from credit card debt. But I am not sure what I should do. I know many people have asked this same question and were told to get credit counseling. I’ve also looked into that and most places charge a fee which i can not afford to pay. I’ve also looked into debt consolidation loans, which i am not eligible for. I’ve even called my credit card companies and asked for a lower interest rate and was denied. I can not afford to get an attorney. This is my situation. I was young and dumb got a bunch of credit cards. I think I have about $ 4.500 in credit card debt. I try to pay more then the minimum monthly payment but my interest rates have increased and I can not afford the monthly payments. I also have student loans and a bank loan that I pay on as well. Those loans are obviously more important then my credit cards. I pay on these cards and the balance never goes down. I do not even use the cards anymore, it does make a difference. Any HELPFUL suggestions or advice from personal experience is appreciated.

What would you do about this marriage in a financial mess?

Okay, so my husband always handled the bills since the beginning of the 13 yr marriage. He let it get way out of control buying himself way too much. Now, after the credit debt is paid each month, there is no money left. I have not even looked at everything yet, but I know there is just btwn 40 to 50.000 in credit card debt. He is paying minimum payments, other bills are still getting paid, but I’m tired of handing him my checks (work full-time make 36k). He makes a little more than me but I Provide medical / dental so it evens out, but at the time he made some of the purchases, he had a 2nd job, Which was just for extra money to buy HIS HIS extra things. It seems things are more important than family. I do not add debt, I’m not a compulsive shopper like him. I do not want to be making him look rich while the kids and I do without. Should I cut my losses now, or is there a way to make him pay for his Overspending, etc. without affecting me, so I can feel like I’m in a partnership, and not just being taken advantage of. I really resent him for it. Is there any free credit counseling that will help consolidate, etc? Are there any other options?

What happens if a person doesn’t pay a credit card?

My friend has a house with some equity but she is deep in debt and does not want to do apply for gov. assistance. She borrowed money on a credit card but they pulled some things like not sending her a bill twice and raising her rates up to about 27%. anyway, she is going through an illness and other family problems and got to a point where she started paying very little then stopped. Now they want her to just pay it off & offerered producing 60% off None of us ever had debt so we do not know what to do. . . she can not get credit counseling of any kind because she is making no money So They will not help her. . . where can she get good advice. . . or she should borrow the money to pay off this card. . . . or oh, what happens if she does not pay it. . . any info. is appreciated. She is so stressed out I am worried about her help so please do not give an answer judging he for being stupid cause you do not know what happened. . . . if she pays the settlement will she have her credit ruined?. . . . what if she does not pay it. . . she had someone tell her she could have bad credit erased there is so much going on now. So, what role does that play Bankruptcy should she look into that and how does she cause she does not even have a lawyer or know anything about. Thanks. Actually she is, has so many problems that I have not mentioned so she could not have done anything and she has been in & out of the hospital for mental health reasons. So the bills have been hard for her to even think about. She has problems with other family members.

What should you do when your husband is financially irresponsible?

When my husband and I were dating he had financial trouble but he told me it was his debt ex-wife’s irresponsible spending that drove him deep into. After we married I discovered he does his fair share of irresponsible spending too. He works 60-80 hours a week at a job for reasonable pay but the money is spent as soon as it hits the bank account. He has even started working a 2nd job but he has a lame story about how he has to wait six months to be paid. I think he’s spending the money and not telling me. He’s now taking out loans we can not afford to pay. He buys TVs and video game equipment and cars and guns that we can not afford. He is always working or out goofing off with his friends and he does not spend any time with the family. When he is home he is rude to me and he rarely plays with the kids. I have tried to take a more active role in the finances but even when we work out a budget he does not stick to it. I am a stay-at-home mom with my own fair share of debt from a previous marriage so I can not open a bank account in my name and I am financially dependent on him. I have tried to find a job on my own to pay the bills but I can not find a job that will pay for child care for our 2 young kids and he is never home to watch them. I do not want to get a divorce because I still love him and I hope that someday he will be willing to go to marriage counseling and improve on these issues but I do not want him to drag me further into debt with him. I live in Texas legal separation so there is no. Is there any other way to protect myself financially without going so far as to get a divorce?

I’m 22- Should I file bankruptcy?

I am 22 years old and have $ 24,000 worth of credit card debt and $ 25,000 in student loans in that I have to start paying off 2 months. I talked with a credit counselor and asked him his opinion Whether Or Not I Should do the program or declare bankruptcy. He could not give me a specific answer, but he was leaning towards bankruptcy. I just graduated college and have a job making very little money and paying off the debt is going to take me over 10 years because my monthly payment (with the credit counselor) is very high. I even know if I continue with the credit counseling, it will shut hurt my credit. Rate my parents declared bankruptcy five years ago and had no problems getting a new car and built a brand new house with an average interest. I know some employers look at credit reports, credit counseling will affect but did anyway. I just want to start over and need some advice. I appreciate it!

question about an FHA mortgage loan?

I applied for an FHA loan about a month ago. My debt to income was around 18% before the proposed mortgage payment, 38% after the proposed mortgage payment. I have been at my job for Year 8. My credit score was around 690th I entered a credit counseling program two and a half years ago. . . Not because I was behind on bills but because I piled up a lot of debt to personal situations and to consolidate it and wanted to reduce interest. I have paid off most of it during that time and have a few minor cards left. I have never had a late payment of any kind and have paid off several personal loans and a car loan. I got a call that my mortgage got a final approval last week. However this past week my lender called and wanted statements from the credit counseling agency. Is this just something they need for the file. My mortgage should be good right? I close next Tuesday. The credit counseling did not trash my credit. My current scores from the three agencies averages out to a 692 as of last month. I have never falling behind on my bills, always paid on time, even before entering the program. I just used them because I racked up too much debt a few years ago. Most of it has been paid off

Could this scenario possibly happen to me?

I’ve been struggling financially ever since Hurricane Katrina. I went into debt, trying to replace my losses and have not been able to pay them since. I’m also in student loan debt. I have my BA degree and still can not find a job. Now debt collectors are threatening to sue. I’m disabled and receive SSI & Social Security. If they garnish my Soc. Sec. after “suing” me, do you think I’d lose my apartment and go further into debt? Right now I get paid $ 657/mo. total. My rent is $ 335th After electricity, phone bill, buying toiletries and household cleaners, paying for counseling, & paying for transportation, I’m pretty much BROKE. I’m just so afraid to lose my apt. My ONLY opportunity for me to live alone. If they garnish my checks, I can not pay rent If I can not pay rent, I get evicted. I do not want that to happen. I’m DYING for a job, but employers refuse to hire me because of my Tourette’s and because of my weight. I suffer depression-that’s why I do not have motivation to exercise. In the 1st sentence, I’m talking about paying off my credit cards, loans, and lines of credit. I’m DYING for a job, but I can not find anything in this tiny town. Mickey D’s, Wal-Mart, Kroger’s and even refuse to hire me because they say I’m too Overqualified because of my college degree. Other jobs, you have to have a VALID driver’s license. I do not have a car to take the test on to get my license. I HAD a license, but when I moved here to Texas, they made me take the test all over again. I passed the written part. I do not have the money to pay for bankruptcy fees. Yes, I get Medicare, Medicaid, and Food Stamps.

Need advice on Credit problems…how can I pay if I can’t get a job?

Sun obviously the “Duh” answer is “Pay your bills.” I have about $ 3000 in defaulted credit history that I need to pay off, and the problem is that I’m living paycheck to paycheck. I can barely afford to feed myself, let alone pay off old bills. I’ve been going to school to get an education so I can make money and pay off my debts, but I find that employers are now given access to credit history (which by the way, is a dick move. I know the justification behind it, but it’s a move thick). I’m worried that I will not get hired anywhere, which is harder because if I can not get hired, I can not pay the debts. . . I’m wondering if there is any sort of credit agency that can help me out in any way possible. I almost took out a student loan to pay off my debts, but that’s equally stupid. If I could not pay them before, I can not pay the student loan and my score is not going to go up overnight. . . I will not get a job, and I’ll still be screwed. Does anyone know what I can do about this? Currently paying off the debts is not an option. I’m on financial aid, And therefore to EXTREMELY fixed income. I need some sort of credit counseling / Low APR loan. . . like one that would let me pay $ 50 a month and rocket up my credit over a year. If anyone knows any federal programs or searching, please let me know. No, I do not have any credit cards, no lines of credit. I pay for everything with cash debt because I am not anxious to rack up more. Besides, I can not get any credit cards now anyway. Most large credit agencies are not interested in me because I do not have more than $ 10,000 in debt. Just in case you care, I was screwed over by a roommate, my sister and I lost our jobs one right after the other, and my slumlord apartment complex raised the rent by $ 200 a month. We ended up living out of my car forever and a day. I finally have a place to live, but I’m broke still. No, it was not just me being stupid and running up tons of debt. I just could not pay for a while, and some of it is medical bills because I have no insurance. . .

Having a bad week with money.?

Sun other than my recent unauthorized charges fraud and fortunately bank taking care of it, I received a letter from Resurgent Capital Services. . . I looked it up and its a debt collector. . . . it states “OUR RECORDS SHOW THAT THIS WAS BEING PAID ACCOUNT THROUGH A CREDIT COUNSELING AGENCY. UNFORTUNATELY, THE NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION FOR YOUR AGENCY HAS NOT BEEN PROVIDED TO U.S.. YOUR AGENCY NEEDS TO KNOW YOUR ACCT. HAS BEEN PLACED WITH U.S… . So I immediately fax them a letter of validation. My question is… I recently looked at my credit report but was not able to print it… Its been 4 months ago. When I looked at my report, everything looked ok except for two unknown addresses. Should I pay this time and get another report? The debt collectors not provided an account number that familiar at all It may have been an old department store account but I paid most of my debt through a collection agency. Yes I was with AMERIDEBT and closed my account with them 4 yrs ago and I am now with Midland Management… finally getting the help and control of my debt and I really do not need debt collectors telling me I owe them something That I know I do.
